Limiting Downloads to Wireless / Not Using My Data Allowance

Hi,

New to the forum and new to Windows 8 having had a Blackberry for a few years, I have setup the phone how I want it to work, however there was an option on the BlackBerry that allowed you to specify for data updates and app updates to only run when connected to wireless, to help protect data allowance. Is there such an option with Windows 8 phones?

The only thing I can find is a data limit setting, but was not sure if that would do the same job.

Thx

Unfortunately no option on wp8. Just found out a couple of days ago that files or apps larger than 50mb requires a wifi connection.

1. Open data sense (GDR2)
2. Set limit to 1 MB
3. Go into settings from within data sense > restrict background data when near limit
4. Data will always be restricted because you have a 1 MB data plan.
