Apparently Sony Xperia Z2 already had this technology. watch the video to know how this works on a phone.
 
My brother has a Z2 and it gets pretty hot even when just taking photos, causing the camera app to shutdown.
 
No it doesn't have it. Obviously you didn't watched the video up till the end. Here's better article about the tech and it;s roots.

And let's not forget Panos said the they use something proprietary the has been forked off from the Surface cooling concept, ergo should be much more advanced now.
 
I used to own SONY Xperia LT26i. It will become very hot when I running two or two more apps. That's too awful.
 
That is not to compensate bad hardware choices, it isa feature of Xperia. It acts as a cup holder. with cooling off, it keeps your coffee warm. With cooling on, it keeps your drinks fresh.

Amazing. :-)
