Hi, i just want to know if there is anyone here who is having battery performance issues after installing the new Live Lockscreen app.
After i installed the app i noticed my battery was dying faster.
I am running WP8.1 DP with no cyan on my Lumia 925 (because the update is still halted for the DP :angry::angry: )

Example: usually i charge my phone to 100% before i sleep then in the morning it is 93% or 95%. After installing the app i wake up to 82% or 80% (i sleep for 5-7 hours).

So to all who has the app, can you tell me if you have the same issue or not.

BTW i tried soft resetting, it did nothing to improve it.

I've had no issues like that with my 620 running Preview. Don't forget though, the app is still in beta form so may not have all the code and other optimisations yet.

The Cyan update can help with battery life though (from what I've seen) and if you really want it you do have the option to downgrade with the recovery tool and updating to Cyan. Entirely up to you.

I understand that it is a beta app and i really hope they will release quick updates to the app.
I would've downgraded to WP8.0 if the lazy Australian carriers released the cyan update, so now i am waiting for MS to fix the bitlocker bug or the carriers release cyan.

UPDATE: the lazy Australian carriers have released the cyan update for the L925 country variant.

I think my battery is fine. It think it actually is better after installing the app but that is probably due to the Cyan firmware which I did install like a week ago.

Interesting, i will try to downgrade now and see the outcome of that.

I downgraded and got the cyan update but the battery performance is still bad when this app is enabled, otherwise the battery after the update is great.

I also think my battery was draining faster after the installation of Live Lockscreen. I uninstalled it now and will check it again.

What settings are you using in the app? Switching backgrounds frequently, especially if using Bing images, will probably use a lot more battery than a simple setup like I'm using (one background photo, never changes). With this simple setup, I've noticed no difference on my L920.

I use one of the basics on my L620 - which doesn't have amazing battery life to begin with lol, but I have no issues on that front.

Using one of the app stock images, no background changing. Also tried all themes. But my battery 🔋 keeps on draining. I uninstalled the app and the battery is great now.
