Live lockscreen

Hello developers. I'm wondering has Microsoft released any APIs for live locksreen so developers can do some nice stuff?
Few day ago Microsoft Garage released Tetra Lockscreen app so probably there is some way to completely modify lockscreen.

I believe the APIs are still private, you can access them fine but there's no official documentation by Microsoft yet (probably cause the API is so buggy and crashes from time to time), all that aside though I believe there was a post on XDA Developers detailing how to use it. I doubt you can submit to the store (I might be wrong) but its possible yo use it on your device. Its in this part of the forum somewhere: Windows Phone 8 Development and Hacking - XDA Forums

Thank you, I'm working on more apps. Yes, I found secret CAP that is controlling lockscreen so I modified it

Can you put buttons on the lockscreen to navigate to apps like whatsapp or something?

I've been thinking about that but I believe something like that is currently not possible on Windows Phone 8, but I will continue to look for some solutions about that. Thank you for suggestion

Is the required CAP automatically unlocked when I have interop unlocked my Ativ S?

I first had my Ativ S interop unlocked, but I needed to hard reset it. (Don't know if it is still interop unlocked) And i can't deploy the lockscreen xap. And I downloaded the old tools to interop unlock, but the set toast system doesn't work because I'm running dev preview wp 8.1. Do you have an idea what the problem is? And how to fix it?

I can't help you with that, I have Lumia device and I can't modify it so I have never tried that. Look here for some solution:

If you manage to do it again just let me now and I'll send you xap file so you could try lockscreens.

I just found out it is not possible to interop unlock my device again. Samsung disabled the function to be able to interop unlock since WP 8 GDR3 . And I don't have Windows 8 PRO, so I can't use the WP emulators. Otherwise I would have liked to test the lockscreens on my device.

I'll just hope in an official update it will be possible to create custom lockscreens.
