Local account to Microsoft account, where are all of my settings?

Local account to microsoft account

hello, windows support could not answer this question so I'm hoping someone here can

I set up my windows 10 PC with a local account a couple of months ago, this week I bought a windows phone and set up a microsoft account on the phone, now I have signed into the PC with the same microsoft account I used on the phone in order to make best use of both

my question is what has happened to the local account and have all my settings been transferred to the microsoft account or have I lost everything?

Did you change your existing account, or did you add a new (microsoft) one?
