Locked out of computer after Windows 10 1803 update

I have a HP laptop and I installed the latest Windows 10 update. When I tried to sign on, I now geat an incorrect password message and when I try to reset it, it says to contact my system administrator. I'm the only one who uses my laptop, so I'm not sure how to sign on now. Please help.
