login fails with Microsoft password

Laptop refuses to accept my Microsoft password and does not show a Local Account option.
Changing the password did not help

You can try the MS community support. Someone always seems to respond pretty quickly there. FYI - some answers are cut-and-paste general answers but if you stick with them you'll find an answer.
