Long bootup time due to "waiting for ProfSvc" on a laptop.

Hi there,

interesting question here that drives me crazy for a few days straight.

I have a laptop here. Use it for music production, so there is a ton of software installed. (Especially some Avid stuff can be really intrusuve.)

Anyway, lately my bootups were getting over 30 - 40 secs of black screen before login screen appears. So I tried to turn on verbose mode and it showed that during the bootup, computer hangs on "waiting for ProfSvc" message.

Is there any way I can try to read some log or events from the profile manager to find out what's taking it so long? Aside from some DOM component access restriction I've dound nothing so far.

Obviously re-install would help, but I have a massive amount of SW I need, so it would be bloated again in the minute. Finding the root cause would be much better.

Thanks,
Martin.
