  • What device you are using?
  • HP 17 inch Laptop.
  • What OS or Firmware is your device running on?
  • Windows 10 64 bit (Home v 21H2)
  • What steps have you taken already to try to fix the issue?
  • turned off the firewall. ran scan sfc with and without it in elevated prompt, and DISM commands. checked event viewer log. ran some sort of tune-up which seemed to adjust something. Don't have a log. have a zip file log of event issues, and then some specifications i believe. used troubleshooter to fix a search error in explorer. also reinstalled HP diagnostics and smart assistant after uninstalling them. I even updated them. i have restarted the system, rolled back some drivers that may have interfered due to some errors. that did not help.
  • If the issues are with a certain app, what version of the app are you running? 2.2.0.0
  • Are there any specific error messages you get? If so, what are they?

i would like to see if there is a way known to fix this by repairing some strings of code, or settings, rolling back /replacing certain software with older versions, or something like that, instead of completely reinstalling windows or putting in a new installation on top of it with updates.
