According to one of the oldest Windows Phone benchmark and stats tool, WPBench, there is a huge jump in version number. And it looks like the next build of Microsoft's Windows Phone 8.1 was tested.

The OS Build for WP 8.1 for GDR3 version is: 8.0.10532, the developer preview of Windows Phone 8.1 is: 8.10.12397.
While a user has tested an OS build of: 8.10.14130



Looks like Microsoft is working behind the scenes to surprise us! :wink:

Yup, nice find. COULD BE GRD1, but doesn't seem likely (atleast to me).

From what I've seen on here, 630s have been getting a minor update that brings them in line with 8.1 Preview's build number.

Every silly discussion starts with such misinterpretations.
It will hit RTM, it will NOT BE OUT. More of that, it's not even SURE that it will hit RTM this week.

Indeed.... RTM is not the likes of us. It gets pushed to the OEMs for further testing, then after successful testing and a while down the line it will go "gold", which is when the product is released to the general public. RTM=Release To Manufacturer.

Well I don't think it will be that major update. It will probably bring us folders on start screen, option to remove games from app list and some bug fixes.

All this talk of updates made me check for my updates on my 920 (running wp 8.1 dp) and nada.
