Lost Charging Sounds

Hey guys!

I have Nokia 920 as you already know that when you plug your phone to charge it, it makes a notification sound and when you unplug it, it also gives you a notification sound. Sadly, i have lost the notification sound when unpluging the charger! The thing is, my electric input plug is shaky and most of the time it disconnects, therefore the notification sounds always helped me to re plug the charger. Im not hearing the sound anymore and its becoming hard to know if the phone is charging..Anyone knows how to get the sound back

If i use the iPhone charger, will it rune my battery because i have noticed that when i use the iPhone charger it takes more time to charge my Nokia L920.. Even though the output of both chargers is 5V Dc and 1 Ampere

The last update eliminated the sound when you stop charging, nothing wrong with your phone this was changed by nokia

My phone is international and still dont have the Portico update

This was not part of the OS update, I believe it was part of the Nokia extras update, not all windows phones are like this, just Nokia phones

Could be, because the last thing i updated from Nokia was Extra+info but was few days ago..But i cant recall if it was from that time..but i guess ur right..Thanx buddy! i thought something happened to my phone

I can verify this: Nokia updates Extras + Info, removes charging chime but adds things too | Windows Phone Central

No problem, alot of people complained about the sound when disconnecting from charger, so Nokia eliminated it, personally I liked it but guess I'm weird lol

No problem. Personally, I'm glad it's gone. I get up earlier than the GF and I always woke her up, too, just by unplugging the phone. Quite annoying for the both of us.

For me i liked it, was helpful with my issue..This way i would know if my phone is charging or not! Wished nokia gave us the option to turn it on or off

That's something I can agree with. I think adding that as a choice is a great idea.
