Love Xbox Music for my lock screen!!!!

It just started happening today!!! Normally, my lock screen is a glowing Cortana... But now, when I'm playing music, the lock screen shows the artist!!!

Luckily, it only affects the lockscreen when playing music.

Yeah not working now on update 1. They really need to also add the album cover and music controls on the lockscreen when music is playing like on IOS.

I used MPAtool app to download artist backgrounds and now they are showing on lock screen. Try it yourself, works for me. Btw I'm still on DP 8.1, haven't upgraded to GDR1.

just updated to update 1 and it's back to the way it was before...

I really liked the album artist there. Funny, I checked the lock screen setting and it says "On" for Show artist when playing music.

If you tap the power button to show the lockscreen, it shows the music controls. so do you mean keep the music controls permanently on the lockscreen?

Shows only Bing pictures in lock screen. "show artist" button is activated..

this has started kinda working for me for about a month, it seems to kick on randomly, it seems this feature isnt far off, XBM seems to TRY to do it but fails somewere, my guess is its partially working but the devs (justifiably) opted to work on a few more important things first
