Lumia 1020 $199 at amazon (back again)

Amazon is running the $199 sale again tonight. think they did the same thing for awhile last week...

When they lower the contract price, does the out of contract price get lowered too? I'm thinking about buying one but out of contract.

If you visit the AT&T site you will see that they have dropped the official contract price to $199 and the off-contract price to $609. Hopefully this will be a permanent reduction and it will boost sales in conjunction with the marketing support the 1020 has been getting. Let's see if Amazon and Microsoft follow suit on the off-contract price. Most likely the contract price will drop uniformly from all sources now.
