I installed Lumia cyan on my 525 using NSRT and have also enabled Cortana by changing language and region to US.....

If you are talking about Cortana alpha for India then that requires DP 8.1.1...

Just like I said.... Change your region to US and also change the phone language as well as the speech language to English US and restart your phone..... Once it starts up, Cortana will be waiting for you in the app list....

as of i know you'll need to reset the phone so that u get back to wp 8 and then update the phone
