1. I work in a Woolworths Supermarket, where we've been selling the 530 handsets on prepaid for $39 with Australia's largest network carrier for the last month.
2. Completely sold out inventory at every single store across Melbourne after the second day. (We moved well over 120 units over two days at my store alone.)
3. Extensive back orders for this device. None for any of our Android Stock.
5. Similar sell out sales at partner businesses like Big W and DSE.
6. Big W had one day sales on the 530 that also cleared store inventory.

These are all holiday pre sales before Telstra, australia's largest carrier starts selling the device through their own retail chain.

If stock keeps moving the way it is now or if Microsoft keeps prices this low, MS could see huge increases in market share in Australia and other countries. Especially considering that Prepaid is much more popular here than contract plans

That's good to hear. Do you get the Lumia 535 yet over there? or even Lumia 730/735?

We've just gotten the 735, but no 535 yet. I Cant see carriers here picking that device up. It out-specs the 635 and costs less. It'd cannibalize sales of the 635.

I got mine there to bargain! Nice little phone, i went from Android dont miss those crashes! LOL
