Lumia 550 worth it?

Hi wc users

I'm really thinking about buying the Lumia 550 as a backup device. I'll have to return my Galaxy S6 soon because of camera issues. So that means I'll be phoneless for 3 to 4 weeks.

I was mostly thinking about the Lumia 550 because it's cheap, about ?130 here. Is it really worth it? I know the Lumia 640 is better at about everything but it's ?170.

You are true, Lumia 640 is better phone. But If you don't want to spend €170, I think Lumia 550 is good choice.

Budget Windows Phones surprise many people. Since it is just a backup and a test of W10Mobile, I say go ahead and save a few quid.

Hopefully you will pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for the replies! Yeah it's just a backup phone but I will be playing with it ofcourse. I had a lumia 925 before and I absolutely loved wp 8.1. I have heard good things about low end Lumias, but I don't expect that much considering the price.
