I'm not sure about that two first things. I don't think that 550 will be announced on the New York event neither that there will be an xl version.

the 550 might make an appearance early October.
The 650, well, doesn't exist yet. Unless you're asking about the Treo 650, which launched over a decade ago.

I'll be surprised if Microsoft was to announce the 550 this year, considering that the 640 was announced in March, and the 435/532 are already lower models which were announced earlier this year too.

Exactly what I'm thinking. This is the way I see it. MS released 640/xl as a test devices, yes test devices (80$ phone, really?) so other non-wp users can experience the platform and the devices. Also, with the Win10 coming soon, and the fact that 640/xl are the first phones to receive those updates, for me, it's clear that MS is again leaving some room for non-windows users to be able to try out the new OS without the need to spend alot of money just for 'testing'. And eventually if they like the platform they'll switch. So new mid-ranger this year? Wel, I don't think so, maybe early 2016. MS wants to sell those new flagships, hoping that people liked the 640 and now want the premium experience.

Im need new Lumia on March-June 2016. In Greece the 640 its costs 140€. I have the 635, but im thinking for a new phone, and the maximum price 150-160€. I think for 550, but if it coming with only 5 mp camera and snapdragon 210, its better to waiting for 650?

I don't think there would be one. Remember that Microsoft is trimming their portfolio to have 3 ranges of phones. A 650 doesn't fit there.

But im need to buy phone on early 2016. The 640, in 6 months months the y will be old phone.

I'm not considering buying a new phone for another year and a half at least. 640 fits all my needs so no need for a new phone. If you wanna buy a new phone save some extra money and buy a 950 when the prices drops a bit.
