Lumia 640 camera problem, what can I do?

lumia 640 camera problem

Hi everybody, I would like ask you questions about the camera of lumia 640, I think that my photos from this camera are terrible, mainly colour of photos, before taking photo colours are ok, like in reality but after taking photo, colours are so warm and brown, Mainly front camera....

I think it is a combination of the Auto White Balance metering screwing up and the Lumia Camera post-processing making it worse.

Any Solution?

Hard to say without seeing images, but in general I do think the Lumia 640 tends towards warmer colors--which I really like! When I compare my shots to others taken on various phones the Lumia color palette is generally richer and warmer. I call it "Kodachrome" if you know what that means. Just like in the old days when we chose different films based on our preferences, today you can choose different color palettes by choosing different phones. My favorite was Kodachrome 64. For example, I find Sony shots run way too cool for my taste.

Could you post samples? State alongside each sample front or rear camera, App used, manual settings with detail or auto settings?


Have you tried alternate camera Apps like Camera360 Sight, ProShot, Intellicam (great for selfies and voice trigger), etc?

Just like in the old days when we chose different films based on our preferences, today you can choose different color palettes by choosing different phones...

Or using different Camera Apps and filters on the same phone.

I don't have any concern over photo quality of L640 at all. It took arguably the best photos for its price point.

Some of mine even got accepted on stock photo sites.

Mind sharing a bi more about why you think its photo is a problem.
