Lumia 730 charging problem

I have bought a Lumia 730 and I am very much disappointed with the charging. It is below the standards of Lumia and windows phones. is it normal or is it abnormal should I give it in Nokia care.

It's taking almost 3 hours to charge the battery and charging is completing very fast within 8-9 hours.

Do you mean the battery is discharging within 8-9 hours? It's possible that if you are using the phone heavily, it could burn down in 8 hours or less. Especially if you are streaming video or playing games or doing other things that are battery intensive. If it is sitting idle and burning through the battery that quickly try restarting the phone to make sure that some process hasn't stuck and is in the background using CPU cycles and burning up the battery. And of course, as with all cell phones, if the phone is in an area that gets poor cellular coverage, the battery will be consumed more quickly.

yup on the standard charger it does take 2-3 hrs to charge completely. You can try to charge faster by turning off the phone while charging or by putting it on flight mode.

it takes almost 3.5 hours to charge my lumia 730. then when it reached 100% and doin nothin, the baterai decreas to 98% less than 30 minutes/ please help me up.
