Lumia 735 Question please

I launched Microsoft Store and at the top of the screen the message " Your device needs a security update" was present.
When I clicked on the link I was taken to a Microsoft.com web page and the heading "Your version of Windows 10 is out of date" was seen.

i was then prompted to download the Windows 10 Upgrade28602 .exe
which was duly downloaded and saved to disk.

Please could anyone advise: am I supposed to run this file.
If so how do I run it.

(This is my first smartphone and I am novice to this sort of thing)

I think that the message is some kind of bug in Microsoft Store, which I have also seen there for a while now. It is not for phones.
