Lumia 830 Glance screen issues

Hi there
so, i got an 830 this week and so far i'm very pleased, except for one thing: Glance screen. Is it just my phone or Glance really tend to fail when using Take a peek? I wave my hand over the sensor and not only it's slower than my former 925 at picking up movements, but also doesn't work sometimes (lots of times). Sometimes it's dimmer than normal too, making it impossible to see at the slightest angle (turning the screen on and then off again fix it). Sensor seems ok, as it turns the screen on and off correctly during calls. I'm not using any screen protector. Is this normal among 830s? Do i have a defective phone? Or it can be fixed with updates?

It's the same with mine. The "Jedi hand wave" works rarely and all other times it's slow to come on. In fact, I've turned glance off entirely as it's of no use in its current state.

It's the same with me also. I hope it is fixed with the real denim update!
