Lumia 920 Display showing dull white not bright white

I have been using Nokia Lumia 920 for 3 years. From day one the wrt to white colour i am seeing half white instead of pure white. I didn't care these days but my android friends are just comparing the devices and pointing me that the display is showing dull white not pure bright white. Android users have something like bluish white settings(sorry if i am wrong). Can you help me pls ?

Happened to my 920 too. I have the yellowish patches on the screen too. But since I keep the dark theme, it is less visible. I would suggest you to use dark theme.

You can change the colour temperature (warmth/redness or coolness/blueness) in the following way. This is a workaround and does not change your ageing screen in anyway. Otherwise get the screen replaced from a Nokia (un)care* centre.

Windows Phone 8/8.1:
Settings -> Display -> Colour profile -> Colour temperature.

Windows 10 Mobile:
Settings -> Extras -> Display -> Colour profile -> Colour temperature.

*Actually they worsen the mobile's condition so I call it (un)care.
