Lumia 925 got new lumia update in Finland

Hi all,
I thought I would inform you all that a new update is available for Lumia 925 in Finland. I tried yesterday searching for updates and was informed that a new Lumia update is available for my phone. I don't know what all been updated but there has been a change in the version. The current version is 3051.50009.1447.0001. It is still Lumia cyan though.

No Aniket. I am not in to preview program. I still believe in OTA updates so never registered fot pfd. I just did a phone update scan yesterday and this update just popped up. The download was fast though. When I was downloading Lumia cyan, the download took something like 10-15 minutes. Yesterday it took only maybe 5-6 minutes. So it is not a major update I guess.

Maybe. But I don't know how much a Lumia 925 would gain from Lumia Denim update. I have heard that denim update is more helpful to the most recently released devices and some older devices like 1020. Maybe I am wrong.

Hi

Yes, only Finnish 1020 and 925 have this news Cyan update (50009.1447.0001). I think it's that FW fix for 1020 and 925 Microsoft promised a couple of weeks ago.

I've checked Navifirm this morning (Nokia servers), and, so far, only the Finnish Country Variants for the 1020 and 925 are listed under this new FW. More to come probably.

Now deepsp, have you also received GDR1 along, or just this Cyan bump? Because on another thread, there's also a report of a new FW (the same) on a Finnish 1020, but it seems GDR1 has been delivered (while the user states he never installed Preview for Developers).

We are trialling an update to Lumia Cyan for Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020 smartphones in Finland which provides fixes & improvements ahead of the Lumia Denim update, which will be rolling out following partner testing and approvals.
