Lumia 925 performs slower than 820 in everything

I have a 925 and a friend of mine has an 820. The thing is, his phone is faster than mine im absolutely everything. Be it gaming or watching videos on Youtube .

We're both on WP8.1 GDR1 with Denim, non Developer Preview. My OS build is .226 and his is .234, though I don't think this matters.

For example, if I play Shadow Fight 2, still loads somewhat slower than his 820. And his phone seems like it's rendering the game at a constant 60 fps. My 925 however seems to hover at around 25 fps. Anyway, there is a clear difference in fluence between our 2 phones. Same thing happens with Asphalt 8. It's significantly smoother on his phone.

As for Youtube videos, we're both using Tubecast. His phone renders 720p60 and 1080 flawlessly while my phone stutters at everything above 720p. 1080p is smooth if I don't watch videos in landscape, which doesn't make any sense.

Suggestions my friends ?

Maybe it is because L820 has lower resolution screen (480p).

Most of the specs are the same between these two. Only exceptions being the screen and the battery.

Denim has been causing performance issues on my Lumia 925 ..
Regardless, Lumia 820 should actually be smoother in many routine tasks haha

Might be the number of apps installed.. I got Lumia 820 and if I install too many apps... It gets slow.. Around 150 apps

Yeah, your phone is fine .. GroupMe runs my phone so hot that it throttles the brightness!
