Heads up everyone, the Lumia 950 is up on AT&T's website :D

I'm not seeing a AT&T Next or Upgrade option on my Premier account, only the no-commitment price though ($598.99...)

Ordered mine through Next like 2 1/2 hours ago in matte white. Says it will ship Nov 20th-24th.

Thanks for the suggestion, that doesn't seem to work for me though... as soon as I try to add it to my cart as an upgrade, it takes me to the Premier site and leaves the no-commitment price as the only option :/

I've gone and added the 950 to the cart, but since I'm premier, I end up going through the premier site. But there are errors when I try to add the tablet. I want to get the deal on the Surface tablet. :)

I just did the same. I kinda wish I didn't because I was thinking I'd get it by the 20th. I should have just waited until Friday and gone to the store :-( Now I'm going to have to wait longer than everybody. Also, I ordered a cheap bumper case off of Amazon to hold me over until that Mozo case is available.

Placed my order for a matte white 950 through AT&T Premier. I'm hoping that the posted shipping estimate of 11/20 - 11/24 is wrong, and I receive it sooner. If the phone doesn't seem to be moving before Thursday, I might try to cancel and pick up in store on Friday.

Good idea. I was a little concerned because they didn't let me choose a shipping method either. It just said "Free" shipping was available. So even if it goes out on 11/19, I doubt they'll do overnight shipping with Saturday delivery...although, I hope they prove me wrong.

I didn't end up ordering, since I wanted the combo deal. I may go into the AT&T store tonight and see what's up. I had really wanted the XL, but I think this deal on the Surface is good if I can get it.

most people, myself included, seemed to have issues with premiere. eventually i did get to order as it showed up for me 20 minutes later. received an "order has been processed" txt a little while ago, so pending shipping i guess.

I had a free and a next day shipping option when I preordered last night. I chose next day (it was $15) and I'm hoping for early next week

I am so tempted (my cart is ready for checkout), but I really want an unlocked one to get away from AT&T bloat and (hopefully) their delays in releasing updates.

This sure has been a painful and confusing release, I hope they are taking notes on how to not release a phone.

*EDIT*
I caved, my 920 is nearly dead and my 635 is not a daily driver for me. I didn't want to miss out on this and have to wait for restocking.

I see the reports of it not being available with no contract aren't true.

It says there is a $15 activation fee. I assume if you buy it in a store you would NOT have to activate it (don't care about the $15). If someone was giving it at a gift or if a non-AT&T customer wants to snag one for $2xx via the AT&T Access CC deal and unlock it immediately for use on another carrier, they won't want to activate the phone.

Ordered through our work ATT account this morning. Was on work Verizon account, so required a carrier switch as well. My order status has changed from "Pending Transfer" to "Preparing to Ship". Really hope it ships before the dates given (11/20/15 - 11/24/15) since I am going to be out of the office all of Thanksgiving week, with no hope of picking it up from work until 11/30/15, if it does not arrive by end of Friday.

Does AT&T ship their phones with the sim preinstalled? I just ordered this to upgrade my Moms 640 and that phone has a micro sim vs a nano sim on this phone. Also not sure if I can just pop the nano sim out of my 1520 and put it in the 950 XL I have ordered and have it just work like on T-Mobile.

I've bought some AT&T L640s that did have the SIM installed. Don't know if true of other AT&T phones.

They usually have the sim in the box with the phone, and still have you insert it.

Cool. I figured as much. Swapping the sim from my 1520 to my 950XL when it comes in seems like it will work no problem too.

I went into our local AT&T store last night. We're in a small town (Lebanon, PA) but they do have 6-8 AT&T people in there. I asked for whoever was most familiar with MS devices, and Rob said he used to test for them. So, I asked about the 950s. He said they 'might' have them Friday (Nov 20th). He told me a MS rep was in the previous week and said they might have them in. I asked if I could pre-order one and pick it up Friday, but he said no, my best bet was to come in Friday. I asked how early Friday (they open at 10AM) and he said if they were here they'd be in Thursday night to be sold Friday.

I also asked about the Surface 3 deal. He said they don't keep them in stock, but if I came in and got the 950 Friday I could also order the Surface to get the deal, and it would be shipped directly to me, it would take 3-4 days.

I also asked if they would carry the Band or Band 2 since they do carry some wearables, and he said he had no idea. He said he would love to give a better answer, but had to tell me what he knew.

They did have the 640 and 640XL in stock, and when I bought my wife's 830 about 4-5 months ago they were very helpful. YMMV
