So far I have not encountered any major flaws with the 950XL. No overheating issues to speak of. In fact the phone barely gets warm charging up.


The speed between multi tasking and opening apps and web pages is very good on this device.



There are certain applications that I notice the 950 XL is quicker than the 950, like opening up Windows central. Though not really big it is noticeable.


Good phone so far at an excellent deal.

I saw that. Thankfully there's a handy button on the page that allows you to check stock in nearby MS Stores (if any..). Looking around it seems that at least today most store still have them.

At this price that might not last long though, they are finally priced right! In fact maybe $100 less than they should have been at launch. I think a $349 Lumia 950 and a $399 950XL would have sold well. Then again it would have exposed more people to the mess that was WP10 at the time.

Nope. I guess they may have held back stock for the Holiday season. Then are now blowing it out with $200 off the 950 or 950xl. It's available in stores in the US and online.

Thanks for reporting, I had not seen that anywhere.

About Complete, just realize that getting a replacement 950XL or 950 would cost you $200 even with complete. $99 to get Complete, and $99 per 'incident', and it only allows one incident these days. Still a good deal if you often break a phone, but not an amazing deal by any stretch of the imagination.

You guys are lucky.. MS have stopped stocking stores in UK a few weeks ago.. I managed to get my 3rd white 950xl BNIB from CEX for ?245, which is a 2nd hand store in UK, but this one i got had only been used once or twice...

Right Chef316, I had the t-mobile 640 and while is a good phone the 950xl blows it away. Awesome phone for $ 260.00
