As owners of the Lumia 950 and 950xl what should we do moving forward after December 2019 and omst app developers already left the platform?

I'm getting an Android, most likely a Huawei... Mate 30 if the budget will stretch to it.... Mate 20 if it doesn't

I'm waiting for the Surface Duo. While I wait the release, probably I will get an Android Nokia mobile phone and I will configure it with Windows launcher as a Windows Phone, in order to have the most similar experience as possible.

I like the Windows launcher, but it is nothing like Windows Phone, it's a completely different experience.
I don't expect much to happen come the new year. The phone will keep working. I think I've managed to find all the apps to do what I need and it still works, so it's fine by me.
I do have an iPhone and a couple of Androids in the drawer, just in case, but I still do not enjoy using them as much.

I wish they had made the Duo in a Windows version or at least optional dual-boot or something...you can make Android look and feel like almost anything but nothing will mask the mass data slurping and tracking that happens.

There's some extremely good buys on some very good Androids and iPhones right now.... it's a pretty good time to switch cost wise.
