Lumia Icon w/ 8.1 Preview. Volume up stuck leads to lightning bolt/gear screen and hard reset...

...only leads to a screen with a barcode and the IMEI info. What do I do from here? I took my phone out of my backpack about an hour ago and found the volume up was stuck. Powered the phone off, then back on... and goes straight to a black screen with a gear and lightning bolt icon after the Nokia splash screen. Soft reset just goes right back to this screen. Hard reset just goes to a white screen with a barcode and IMEI info... I absolutely need this phone working by the morning. What now?
