Lumia ROMs that won't update

I've just read that there are certain roms that are for developers only, or something like that, which will never receive updates, is that possible? And if so, how do I know that I have one? I flashed my 820 and I'm afraid that I've got one of those roms that will never update

I haven't heard of such ROMs.
I think you'll be fine, unless you somehow flashed to a ROM that's carrier-branded, but even then you'll be somewhat OK, depending.

I know the rom is Mexican, it says 000-MX which is supposed to be a CV right? Thanks for the answer

if there's no carrier stuff anywhere I'd assume yes.
