Does anybody know how to get the mail icon labels back?



Here's how it should look. Notice how the icons have labels at the bottom?

It glitched once and showed the labels. But I'm not sure how to get them back or see any options either.

Yep it shows the labels in Windows 8.1 on the Desktop PC ... but not on the Dv8P display using Windows 8.1....
No option to display icon labels that I can find either, strange.

ok thanks. so it wasn't me. I've only been able to see the labels once. it is weird/odd.

Just now I checked an email to mark as unread and the bar popped up with the text, first time I actually saw it. Aaaand its gone.

I don't understand why its setup this way. The labels help a lot.

What happens when you right click on blank space or swipe from the top or bottom with a touch screen. Don't swipe all the way from the top or you might close the app.

When performing those actions. The buttons shows up as posted in my screenshot.

seems they have the same setup as the appBar on the phone, icons only until you pull the full bar up.

FWIK, those icon labels are auto show/hide based on your screen resolution and/or scaling factor. It only shows up on 1366x768 or higher resolutions. DV8P screen is only 1280x800. So no icon labels.

You are correct. Just received my Thinkpad8 and the buttons show up fine.
