Major visual glitch when watching videos on Edge

I have the same problem with my new Surface Pro 4 i5, 256GB
My Surface was shipped with Win10 1511 and I have installed the latest Updates via Windows Update.

Same here. Do not use edge anymore. (Syncing with edge on other machines, glitch youtube, awkward favorites editing etc.)
FF will do just fine.

I must admit I don't have that issue with edge and watching videos. However
A. Sometimes I get the blue screen of crash snd the device reboots
B. Sometimes web pages black out and dont open until a reboot.
C. Sometimes edge doesn't load up until a reboot.

Re your issue , hopefully regular reboots will solve that issue ?

Still it is super smooth and light on battery use so I'm not complaining overall. It would be nice if It didn't have so many bugs and doesn't support silver light either or extensions for that matter.

I have an update on this issue. I able to get rid of the shaking.
1. Go to Internet Properties: (Run > inetcpl.cpl)
2. Go to Advanced tab
3. Check the first item: Accelerated graphics: Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering*

No more crazy shaking problems. It's really sad I have to use a workaround like this, but maybe this points to a graphics driver issue.

This issue has been present since launch. Like others, I try to stay away from Edge. It's a shame because Edge seems to run good and is less taxing to the battery than Chrome is.

I am experiencing the same issue, although it seems to have stopped being an issue in Edge.
It's really prevalent in the official Twitter app.

Please excuse the audio, selected a random YouTube audio clip to cover up the original audio. :)

UPDATE: The really helpful Microsoft support advisor asked me to uninstall the current Intel graphics driver via Device Manager and to download and run the MSI available here to reinstall the latest version. https://forums.windowscentral.com/e...ad%2Fdetails.aspx%3Fid%3D49498&token=DACcFJ0_
Sadly this didn't fix the issue but it does seem a little less severe.
It doesn't seem to make any difference whether the app is full screen or whether the device is running in "Tablet mode", as soon as the playing video clip passes under the top app bar it triggers the screen glitches.

I've also tried reinstalling the Twitter app and triple checked I have all the latest updates.

I've installed Tweetium trial and that has the same issue, only when you narrow the window to cause it to scroll the timeline vertically. As with the official Twitter app it happens when the video content scrolls underneath the top navigation bar.

I've tried a few web sites in Edge that have animated images and videos and can't get the flicker to occur.
UPDATE: The issue is back in Edge, just hadn't for a while come across a page with the right sort of embedded video I presume. It exhibits the same behaviour though, it's when the page is scrolled and the video is partly obscured by the browser toolbars.

The latest batch of Windows Updates looks like it included something that fixed this, at least on my Surface Pro 4.
It's not doing this glitch any more in the Twitter app or in Edge.
Woot!!!
