I keep getting this message on my Surface. It says that I must make my PC more secure to connect to this server. As a result (amongst other things) I can't get e-mail from my work. I don't get the message on my desktop pc with the same build.

Anyone know how to get my Surface to enforce the correct security policies?

Is it trying to connect to a work connection? Through VPN?

Have you recently done anything with the Surface that could've possibly contracted malware/spyware/virus?

My apologies for the post, I've been using various builds of Window 10 on a desktop but only last night installed it on my Surface Pro 3. Somehow I installed an earlier build. Now that I'm on the current build and everything (so far) is fine.

I believe that would be your exchange mail account from work causing that. As an exchange admin we have policies configured against activesync which was typically used for mobile phone connections. The number one option pertaining to password requirements. When using an activesync client on a pc and setting up an exchange account these policies may also be imported as well. All depends on how your admin has things set up. Generally in my experience the more secure blib is generally followed by a yes or no prompt. Accept the policies or don't get exchange mail on your device.

@David Feifer, at first I thought it was something like that but my Desktop running Win10 and two phones running Win 10 mobile didn't have a problem logging in and retrieving mail. Once I went to Build 10166 it cleared up. However, you are partly correct in that my exchange admin did need to make changes in order for me to gain access thru Outlook 2013 and in order to use Remote Access through my Surface. All good now though.
