Maps on the Xbox One (Coming very soon)

Was just looking around my Xbox One and opened Cortana, she looks pretty much like she does on the PC, I looked in my favourite places and it gave me the option to get directions (As on the PC) so I clicked on it, she said "You need to download an app for this" and gave me the option to search the store, so being a bit bored I clicked and up came Windows Maps, I downloaded and although when launched it said "Coming soon" it is now pinned to my start in anticipation..........

I had searched the store only last night and it hadn't shown up, but it does look like MS have lots of Windows Apps waiting for us.

I for one am very pleased about this as it shows most UWP apps will port to the Xbox One.

If I want to show my wife or someone else how to get somewhere, they would need to stand behind me whilst I am on my desktop, or we would need to pass a tablet or phone backwards and forwards, so much simpler to use Maps on the Xbox and we can both sit in comfort and look at the screen.

Plus Maps would really be needed if Cortana is to work fully.

There will be plenty of other Windows 10 apps that I can think of that would be useful on the Xbox.
