Marketplace Region

I can't see some apps in the Marketplace because of my region. For example, Spotify. It says it is not available in my marketplace. How can I change my region. And actually I don't know my region. Is it auto determined?
Can you please help me. I can't find some apps. ESPN is another example.

I'm having the same problem, but i just did the account transfer thing using an Xbox and it's telling me some junk about apps not available in my region when i try to reinstall from the website. When i search on the phone, some of them are suggested and others not. When it finishes searching it tells me that there's no matches. HELP!!!!! I've paid for some of these apps and i can't even find them to reinstall them -_-

Well I read somewhere that you can install apps by connecting your phone to your computer. So maybe you can find the app via the market place online.
