Mass Text and email gdr2

Hey all. I had a friend that switched to WP8 and then went back to android because he could not send text and emails to more than like 25 people at the same time from his phone. Has this been changed with GDR2? He really wants to come back so I mentioned to him they fixed group messaging but I don't know what that means exactly. Has this been fixed? Can you somehow send mass texts and emails to say 150 people? Thanks all.

man that stinks.....does anyone know if that is in the plans....there are a lot of people who use this feature everyday on other platforms. Is there maybe even a third party app that would do this?
