Memory card error

On my Lumia 730 . Switch on the phone every time shows this . Message. Sd card scanning. Repair in background. Why fix the problem? Please help. My os version 15047

It usually means there is some corruption/damage with the SD card. It can happen normally or if the phone loses power while writing to the card.

I would remove it and back everything up to a PC just in case and then let the phone try to fix it. There is a good chance that all or parts of some file(s) will be lost. Also possible the card is on its last legs and keeps doing this.
