How important is the speed of a memory card?
I was shopping online for a 64gb SD card and I realised some of them had 45MB/s written on them, some were 30MB/s. And some didnt have any speed written on them and they were all class 10.

So I would like to know, of what importance is the speed? How does it affect your mobile experience?

In my case, not much of an importance. I have one of the earliest 64gb cards. Some people report some slight stuttering when video recording. That happened to me too, but AFAIK it seems more related to the OS than hardware.

I believe the speed listed is the top speed capable.
In most cases (storing media), it wont be too much of an issue. However, it will be noticed if, say, you were copying your large music collection to it. But reading music, taking photos, shouldn't be too problematic. Recording HD video to a card that is too slow could stutter a bit.
And if you run apps off of it, it may be nicer to have a faster card to save time. I'm not entirely sure how it will affect normal use, which may be less taxing.
