Message preview

When a text comes thru it shows the first line so anyone can see who sent it etc can this be turned off

I don't think so but I as well would like to be able to alter how this preview is shown. For instance if I just receive an "Okay" or something it would be nice if I could press "mark as read" os something from the preview.

Not sure if it's in there, but that is something I would love to be added.
