Messaging multitasking

Why when I am messaging via SMS and open a message through notification or. Action center all.messages appear in individual window (app)?

That's a mystery only Microsoft is able to explain. Honestly, it never made any sense and it will hopefully change with Windows 10.

Yes, I hope they get rid of that feature, because I just LOVE having to go through the process closing and reopening the messaging app just so I can select a different conversion when I'm talking to more than one person. I love it so much I want the simpler solution GONE!

I know but why when you open a messaging room for a couple times, it opens in a new windows not at the same.. :/

Yeah that seems to be an unfortunate oversight. It doesn't do anything other than clutter up the task switcher, though.

One that has been present ever since the task switcher was introduced (Mango).
