Messaging thread split after OS update

After I updated my Lumia 950 to 10.0.14393.105, my wife's text messages started a new thread. Both threads show up and if I reply on the old thread, her replies are on the new thread. Any idea on how I can combine both threads?

Goto Peole app, check if your wife is saved with doubled entries, tap on one on them -> Link

She only has one entry there. I checked it earlier after seeing that in some older threads on the subject.

I just started seeing the same thing on my phone. I'm on Windows 10.0.14393.189 running a Nokia 640.

I'm hoping I wont need to hard reset again :unhappy:

I've posted in a different thread with other, similar issues, but I also have this issue on my L950. I think this may have something to do with the botched outlook.com migration. The syncing of contacts/mail is screwed up.
