Mic on headset just stopped working

Hello, one minute it was working, the next (I literally did nothing) the mic on my hyperx cloud alpha headset stopped working.

I have tried:
- removing and reinstalling drivers and realtek software
- ensuring everything is enabled

I then tried it on 4 different pcs and 2 laptops (laptops via a usb dongle):
- both laptops using usb dongle found mic and headset but i only got audio
- 3 pcs found everything as well but no mic
- one PC actually worked (it had realtek software installed)
- plugging the 3 pin directly into a phone works

I have checked the settings and it thinks a mic is there just there is nothing, no bars, nothing.

so it kind of works on one computer and one phone, but 5 other computers don't.

any ideas?

What sound card was in the computers that it didn't work on? What driver is being used? Did you contact their technical support?
