The Microsoft Surface Earbuds are $200 brand new, and you can buy them right now. Unfortunately, they're over two years old, fail to compete with other wireless earbuds in their price category, and haven't received a single firmware update in over two years. Don't buy these. Personally, i love my Surface Earbuds. I purchased the glacier version on launch day. I didn't love how much the white stick out, so i switched to graphite when those launched. I've used them almost every day since. In the office, at my home office, out on walks, etc... I love that I can hear my surroundings while doing calls or listening to podcasts/audiobooks. They're comfortable enough that I forget i'm wearing them.

I really hope Microsoft releases a refined gen 2. Honestly, I don't need active noise cancellation. If I do, i can put on headphones. The Surface Earbuds are dang near perfect for my usecase. Please don't let it die, Microsoft!
