I bought a SP3 (i7/256) from a UK High St retailer and took out (after studying the T&C's very carefully) their 5yr Added Care for ?130.
The main reason is the cover includes claims out of my country of residence - something Microsofts Complete cover doesn't.
My wife is considering the i7/512 and taking out Microsoft complete. The T&C's state a maximum claim (x2) of ?1500 - which is less than the cost of the i7/512 - how does that work? If the machine requires replacement, do they give you a lesser spec machine.
