Windows Central Question

Anyone know if there is any plan for an app from Microsoft for contacts on Android, like People or the contacts app from WM10. After my dear 950 Xl die about a month ago, and I were 'forced' to move to android, the thing that i moust hate is all the contacts apps, i can't find one the did the same that my WM10 was able to do, my P20 pro contact app do not even have a option to not show contacts without phone number. I did try a few apps but are able to link contact info and organise them like the WM10 app. So, if anyone cam ask Microsoft about an contact app for Android , that would be great XD.

Yeah I know that. But this could be one more reason to Ms push more of ther services to Android and IOS and a good for the users.

From what I have see from my expereince with Android, they would need to develop a dialer app. All the ones I see in phones and in the store the dialer and contacts are interconnected into the same app.

If they dont do a dialer, then perhaps they could find a way via Outlook or their Launcher.

You should try to use Exchange to store your contacts and I've never had trouble with the built-in Contacts app that comes with Android. You should be able to show contacts without phone number.

They already have a dialer app and the tools to make an port of the app, including this on the launcher would be awesome, the app contact from WM10 was great, you setup a few acounts and it links the info from all the aconts so the contactc apear organised, simple and fast.

I don't have an Exchange, i have outlook, and right i'm having now a problem with my 2 months old P20 pro. last week my contacts just start despairing, my outlook account disappeared from the contact app i don't know why, and now it just don't let me add it back because it say that that acount is allredy added to the phone, yet I can't find it anywhere. Never had this kind of problem with my 950XL (that unfortunately died and i had to move on).

Yes I do. This happens if I have the outlook app installed or not

Silly question, but if you uninstall the Outlook app and also go to the Accounts option within Settings and remove any Outlook account stored there, and then install it again and set it up once more, does it still error?

The problem is just that, I can't find de account anywhere on the phone. This weekend I finally give up and did a hard reset just to set up everything again an find out that problem remain, this time I was able to add the account with no erros but then, no contacts, no messages and again no account to be found anywhere and then I spend the next 5 minutes looking at the phone like WTF??
