Microsoft Edge preview builds launch for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1

The new Microsoft Edge is has completed its rollout to Windows 10, Mac, and Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.

• Microsoft Edge Insider builds are now available for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.
• Only the Canary channel is available to start.
• This completes Microsoft's platform rollout, following Edge's release for Windows 10 and Mac.

While Windows 10 users were treated to a new Edge Dev channel release today, Microsoft also has some good news for those still using older versions of Windows.
