This kind of management attitude towards desktop developers since Microsoft lost the plot with UWP is the reason why most of us no longer care, using Windows as thin client for cloud technologies, and keep running applications that were developed up to Windows 7 time, with Win32 and .NET based technologies.

By the way, Dev Home was supposed to be a demo of how far the UWP to WinUI 3.0 transition has come, and seems to be suffering from the same lack of resources and management, that has plagged WinUI 3.0 since it was introducted as Project Reunion back in 2020 at Ignite.
