Microsoft Lumia 532 - Ringtone stops after a second when Vibrate is on - why?

On most of my ringtones - when I have the "Vibrate" setting on the ringtone stops after half a second or a second. It is running Windows Phone 8.1 Update. If I turn vibrate off all the ringtones work perfectly. Any ideas?

do soft reset > volume down + lock key for 10 sec until device reboots
