Microsoft removes several widgets from the emptiest section of the Microsoft Store

Just a note that it's Windows+W is the keyboard command to open the Widget panel. This can be important, because in many apps, Ctrl+W (what the article says at the time of this post) often means to close the current window or document, in some cases potentially leading to loss of data.
