I am currently in New York, and thought it'd be foolish to leave without giving the MS Store a visit.

I found one at 1540 Broadway, which was moved/closed. Any New Yorkers, or recent visitors, who knows where the new store might be?

It seems like I saw somewhere there was one at Times Square. I might be wrong though. I was wrong. It was a popup store, but it's closed now.

The one on Times Square has obviously been moved/closed.

@ny_yankees: got an address for that one?

I've never been to NYC, so I don't know if this is a different store, but I found this one.

  • Time Warner Center - The Shops at Columbus Circle
  • 10 Columbus Circle
  • New York, NY 10019
  • Phone: (855) 270-6581

Yup... this is where it is.

Not sure why Microsoft closed/moved the other location. Great location.

If you go to New Jersey, the Garden State Plaza Mall has a kiosk.

Yup, there it was; Time Warner Center.

Not the grand venture I'd expected, though. But, better than nothing!

Thanks for guidance!

@Duvi, the one that was in Times Square was Just a Holiday Store :-)

I know, but it was packed... not sure why they wouldn't keep it open. My co-workers went and won some prizes there and said it was packed and then the two times I went, it was packed.

Was it busier than the store they decided to keep?

No, I meant the Time Warner Center store.

The Time Warner Center store, was a kiosk, and not pakced at all. But, it made me happy to see that there were some people around checking out the phones and the Surface.
