Microsoft trickery!!!!!

Can anyone tell me why apps like viber, whatsapp, facebook do not work on lumia phones? why are these phones sold as smartphones, whan they actually cant support simple messaging over internet connection? i gave my hard earned money to buy this lumia, which i cant use now for obvious reasons. please, help MICROSOFT!!!

Hhhmm .. Ok
I'm using mTalk for WC forum. The way I use it, ie via "recently active" post it doesn't show which section threads are in.
Anyway, never had problem with those apps not working on a 1520 or any LX20 series.. Maybe the OP meant its not working "well" ...

Some apps like mTalk or PayByPhone require not only Windows 10, it needs to be on the Anniversary Update. Before anyone starts flaming, Android does the same. Microsoft apps on Android require you to be on Lollipop at minimum.

They do.

You might try updating your phone as much as possible.

Although personally I find the facebook app to be bloated. I prefer slimsocial as a FB client.
